Do you create custom menus?

Yes, please consult one of our catering specialists for our extensive list of options.

Do you offer vegetarian/vegan options?

Yes, we offer a wide variety of vegetarian, gluten free and vegan options.

What methods of payment do you accept?

Do you provide tables or linen?

Please provide tables or counter space for food and beverages. White linen table covers are provided at no charge for the beverage and food tables. Linens for all other tables (guest tables etc.) may be provided at $4.00 per cloth, it would be your responsibility to pick the linens up 1 to 5 days prior to your event and cover the tables. Linen napkins may be provided at $.35 per napkin unfolded and $.50 per napkin folded. White skirting is also available for the food and beverage tables at no charge.

Do you provide the paper ware or China?

All paper products are included at no extra charge for buffets. The charge for china and silverware ranges from $2.00 to $4.00 per person, which covers breakage, cleaning and rental. A full setting ($4.00) includes dinner, salad and dessert plates, silverware, water glass, coffee cup and saucer. A partial setting ($2.00) includes a dinner plate, fork and knife; we would then provide paper products for the dessert plates, dessert forks and coffee cups. China cost/availability is subject to change depending on your event location.

When do you need a full count of how many people will be attending?

A confirmed count is requested 7 to 8 days prior to the event. Pricing is based on number of people; if your count should fall, the price would be adjusted accordingly. All caterings must be paid in full by the day of the event unless approved by a manager.

Do we get to keep the left over food?

Our leftover policy is based on the amount of people served. For example; if your count is 200 and we serve 200, we will choose what to do with the leftovers. If we only serve 175, you will receive the food for the 25. Canadian Honker is proud to donate leftovers you do not want to Community Food Response.

How does cleaning up after the event work?

For paper product buffets, we will clean up around the buffet tables and the kitchen, as well as walk around and remove dinner plates from the guest tables. For china, the same policy applies, except we will clear all dirty china from the guest tables.

Can I substitute items on pre-determined menus?

Yes, most items are easily substituted without charge. Please speak with one of our catering specialists regarding your specific needs for substitutions to see if additional charges may apply.

Do you offer taste testing?

Yes, please call one of our catering specialists to arrange.

Do you cater outside of Rochester?

Yes, we proudly serve a sixty-mile radius of Rochester and serve parts of Iowa and Wisconsin.

Do you provide full service with staffing for events?

All of our wedding packages are full service with staffing. Please speak to one of our catering specialist regarding all other catering functions regarding our full service staffing.
